An email alert is a message that you can receive free of charge each time a new issue of an online Cell Press journal is published. You need to be a Registered User or Subscriber to Cell Stem Cell Online to receive email alerts.
You can choose to receive email alerts for any set of online Cell Press journals. Two types of email alert are available:
To sign up for email alerts, or to amend your email alert options:
You will see a table of the email alerts for which you can sign up.
Accessing the archive of all online issues and summaries
Your browser displays the archive front page.

Once the table of all online issues/summaries is displayed, simply click one of the arrows on either side of the year to view the previous/next year:
Your browser displays the Table of Contents for the issue you selected.
Viewing the twenty most frequently accessed articles
To access a list of the twenty articles which have been downloaded the most: Click the 'Top 20 Articles' link on the Cell Stem Cell Online home page. Your browser displays a list of the most frequently accessed articles, starting with the most popular article.
Providing comments on an article
The editors of the journal select articles to which readers can add comments, which are highlighted on the journal's home page or on the page for the Table of Contents.
To be able to add comments to an article you must first have signed in as either a Subscriber or Registrant with your User name and Password. You can add a comment by clicking on the Add a comment link that appears in the Article Comments section of the Article Options box on either the Summary or Fulltext version of the paper. You will then be taken to a form where you enter your name, email address, affiliation, provide a title for your comment, and enter a comment that can be up to 2000 characters (including spaces). You will be given the opportunity to preview your comment before submitting it.
To view comments that have been submitted on an article, click on the View Comments link.
Supplemental data is online material (for example, video or more detailed experimental procedures) that is not available in the printed version of Cell Stem Cell.
You do not need to be a Subscriber or Registered User to access supplemental data.

The figures in Cell Stem Cell Online articles are available in three versions with differing resolutions. The higher the resolution of a figure, the longer it will take to be loaded into your browser.
The three versions, in order of increasing resolution, are
intermediate resolution, which includes the legend for the figure. To view this version of a figure, click one of the following links, as appropriate:

In most cases, you will not want to view the high resolution version of a figure, as its size means that it is slow to load and you may have to use scrollbars to see the whole image in your browser window. |
To return to the article from the intermediate or high resolution version of a figure, click the ‘Return to Article’ link.
